Some ROTG movie/book crossover sketches~~ Just imagine what kind of interaction cold go down with characters essentially the same person, but so different. I for one think it'd be hilarious. or very shippy... *cough*
Jap, so different but I can get along with both versions very well! And well, the dreamworks stuff had to make choices. For example, they had Bunnymund like super close to the book charackter in the first place. And then Hugh Jackman entered the studio for the voice acting....aaaaand all the work was gone. Why?! Its Jackman, Ladies! Now Bunnymund had to be tough and cool and grumpy. Same goes for the rest of them, except North he's much like himself. Only older. So yeah, it's called marketing. But damn, I love the movie and the books. I think they did a great job at dreamworks! (in my dreams there's a remake of the books by Ghibli....sweet imagination)
It's often said in religious practices that the reason gods/Jesus/whathaveyou appear different is because they change their looks and personalities based on the belief they are given. Maybe Tooth and Bunny changed with the times, but I bet it makes for some good conversation to think back to the 'good ole days'. Even so, now I'm curious as to what would happen if book verse could meet movie verse o.o You've just robbed me of another hour of sleep!
